SUGGESTIONS FOR BETTER SKATING
  1. Getting proper skates that are proper fitted, laced up tight, and that really roll is the most important thing to skating better. Skates are everything! If they do not fit and do not roll properly then the skater will not enjoy skating. If they are too big they will be difficult to pick up. There are many different levels of skates for ability and priced accordingly. Cheaper skates are for very beginner skaters that have not learned to roll yet.

  2. The secret to not falling and keeping your balance is the correct body position, not looking down, and the sideway motion learned in lessons.
